THE FUTURE IS HERITAGE

The Future is Heritage is a European youth network for young people working in the cultural heritage sector, from museum officers to archaeologists, monumental preservation or redevelopment and so on.
In 2018 to 2020 I was involved in The Future is Heritage as a project manager for the Capacity Building Days 2019, as representative of the network in international events, and as part of the fundraising team for the application for a European fund.

Capacity Building Days 2019
The Capacity Building Days 2019 was a week-long training program for around 70 participants from all over Europe, that took place in Athens, Greece. Together with Greek partner organisations and core partner Europa Nostra, I took the lead in putting together a diverse and exciting programme based on intergenerational exchange. Several themes central to contemporary heritage management were addressed: social cohesion and cultural heritage, activism, contested heritage, urban and rural heritage-led development.
